Brought to you by Chef Nathan Anda, the mastermind behind Hi/Fi Tex-Mex BBQ and Red Apron, and Neighborhood Restaurant Group, Shorty’s delivers bold flavors, fresh-baked breads, and crave-worthy combos perfect for everyday dining," according to the restaurant.
Shorty's is at 2016 Mt. Vernon Ave. and is the "café" portion of Mulberry Lane, which opened last month. Mulberry Lane is a work and playspace, catering primarily to parents of children ages 6 and under. Parents can get work done in a co-working environment while their children are taken care of by qualified educators.
Shorty's Deluxe is open from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. The menu includes coffee and pastries from 9 - 11 a.m., and the full menu of sandwiches, salads and more until close.
The sandwiches comes on unique, on-site baked muffuletta-inspired 12-inch rounds, and sandwiches are served as an eighth, quarter, half or whole round.
Grand opening weekend, Dec. 7 and 8, includes special deals, double-card punches and more.
