Popular taqueria La Tingeria is opening its third location this weekend at Port City Brewing Company.
La Tingeria has locations in Falls Church and Spotsylvania. The partnership with Port City Brewing is its first in Alexandria.
The grand opening on Saturday at 1 p.m. will feature a Mariachi band and other fun attractions.
La Tingeria has been named a Washingtonian magazine TOP 100 VERY BEST RESTAURANTS for the past two years running. FOOD & WINE magazine recently named them as one of the top 50 taquerias in the country.
“Our customers have been asking for more consistent food options,” said Port City Brewing Founder Bill Butcher earlier this year. “We are delighted to partner with David and his team at La Tingeria. Their menu is both authentic and unique, and the quality is top notch. Of course, tacos and craft beer are a natural pairing.”
Port City Brewing is in Alexandria's West End, at 3950 Wheeler Ave.
