Port City Brewing, which has always hosted a variety of food trucks outside, is bringing the food service inside.
Popular taqueria La Tingeria is opening its third location at Port City Brewing Company this fall.
The menu will feature Chef David Peña’s signature items, including goat and beef birria tacos and namesake chicken tinga tacos, as well as plus brand new items, such as lamb burger sliders and Sonoran hot dogs wrapped in halal beef bacon.
La Tingeria has locations in Falls Church and Spotsylvania.
“Our customers have been asking for more consistent food options,” said Port City Brewing Founder Bill Butcher. “We are delighted to partner with David and his team at La Tingeria. Their menu is both authentic and unique, and the quality is top notch. Of course, tacos and craft beer are a natural pairing.”
Port City Brewing is in Alexandria's West End, at 3950 Wheeler Ave.
“It was an honor that Bill and Karen Butcher chose us, La Tingeria, to lease out their new restaurant space,” said Peña. “I’m excited to develop new dishes and take our guests on a journey of my life through my art and food."
The restaurant is expected to open in October.
