Paris Baguette is opening in the Seminary Plaza shopping center in Alexandria's West End of Monday, Nov. 25.
The 4616 Kenmore Ave. bakery is the first Paris Baguette in Alexandria. The bakery has additional Virginia locations in Springfield, Fairfax, McLean, Centreville, Herndon, Manassas and Ashburn.
Paris Baguette serves a wide variety of cakes (whole or by the slice), danishes, scones, croissants, pastries, donuts, macarons and breads. Breakfast sandwiches, salads, wraps, coffee drinks and smoothies are also on the extensive menu.
Paris Baguette is a South Korean company that opened its first United States location in 2005. The company is expanding quickly and plans to have 1,000 locations open by 2030.
