A new Vietnamese restaurant has opened its doors in Old Town Alexandria.
The owners of the new eatery, Saigon Rolls, which opened Friday, Jan. 31 at 606 King St., are bringing the culinary treasures typically found in the Eden Center to Old Town Alexandria.
The same family has been running the popular Nha Trang Restaurant, at the Eden Center for the past 20 years.
"We bring the same commitment to authentic flavors and quality to our new modern Vietnamese kitchen," the family behind the business notes.
Specializing in phở, bánh mì and house specialties served with fresh side salads, Saigon Rolls offers both traditional favorites and contemporary interpretations. The menu includes a selection of vegetarian dishes, vermicelli bowls and Vietnamese beverages and desserts.
Hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily and the restaurant offers online ordering from its website.
The King Street space was formerly home to Pho Nam, which was in business at the spot for about four years.
