National Cherry Blossom festival is kicking off in DC on March 20 and The Alexandrian, 480 King St., and Morrison House, 116 S. Alfred St., in Alexandria are kicking off celebrations with themed cocktails, a Cherry Blossom Chef’s Supper Club, menu specials and a hotel package perfect for those celebrating spring with a trip to the cherry blossoms, just a short drive from Washington D.C.
With peak blooms predicted for March 28-31, DC visitors and locals alike can track the cherry blossoms through a live #BloomCam at the National Mall and plan their perfect day immersed in floral delights from sun up to sundown.
