Known for its variety of gourmet Mexican street food, fresh table-side guacamole and creative margaritas, Diablo’s Cantina will open its first East Coast location at MGM National Harbor later this summer.
It will take the space formerly occupied by FISH, which announced its closing earlier this year.
“When I lived in Las Vegas, Diablo’s Cantina was always a hotspot for mouthwatering tacos, refreshing margaritas and a festive environment,” said MGM National Harbor Executive Chef Jason Johnston.
“I’m excited to welcome the concept to our resort and for our guests to experience a very approachable menu and, most importantly, delicious Mexican food," he noted.
The menu will boast vibrant Mexican fare inspired by the classic cuisine of Mexico. From starters to sides, each dish will balance rich flavors with modern cooking techniques to provide guests time-honored, south-of-the-border favorites in an approachable way.
Details on Diablo’s food and beverage menu will be available in the coming weeks. MGM National Harbor will mark the third location for the restaurant concept.
The MGM National Harbor Casino recently reopened, June 29, at half capacity after the COVID-19 crisis closed most businesses in the spring. Entry includes temperatures checks; employees are wearing masks and masks are also offered to visitors.
