Cherry blossom season is almost here and Hotel Heron in Alexandria is marking the occasion with a series of limited-time, cherry-inspired experiences designed for both visitors and locals looking to celebrate peak bloom in style.
From Thursday, March 19-Saturday, March 21, Hotel Heron will host a ticketed Cherry Blossom Afternoon Tea Pop-Up (Noon-4 p.m.), offering an intimate, two-hour experience in a private room on property with balcony access.
Priced at $55 per person, the experience accommodates up to four guests per group, with just six total group seatings available — making it a highly exclusive activation.
Each seating includes:
- Cherry-inspired tea selection
- 3-5 small tea bites
- Two specialty cocktails:
- Blushing Cherry Rosé Spritz
- Ruby Glitter Cherry Spritz (complete with edible cocktail glitter)
Additionally, from Thursday, March 19 – Friday, April 10, the hotel will feature cherry-forward cocktail programming throughout the property. Francis Hall will debut a Cherry Trilogy Tasting Menu, a three-course cocktail journey featuring:
• Sparkling Cherry Blossom Spritz
• Cherry Bourbon Garden
• Cherry Maple Whiskey Sour
At Kiln, guests can sip on seasonal specials including a Cherry French 75 and a Spicy Cherry Margarita.
