Lena’s Wood-Fired Pizza & Tap in Del Ray announced a new spring theme for The Loft at Lena’s.
The new dining experience, opening Friday evening, is called The Loft at Lena’s – Full Bloom. It features floral creations that create pops of art throughout the space.
The design of the space also features green grass climbing the walls, paired with multi-colored ribbons cascading overhead and an array of butterflies.
New appetizers for the warm weather season are now on the menu, including Burrata & Prosciutto, Fra Diavola Mussels & Shrimp Cocktail, and Strawberry & Baby Spinach Salad with house-made raspberry vinaigrette. Main dishes such as Jumbo Lump Crabcakes and Whole Grilled Branzino with Puttanesca served with spring vegetables will make their debut.
New spring-curated specialty cocktails including a frozen Limonata Sgroppino, Spring Spritzers, Violette Martini and Cool Cucumbertini bring pops of color to the cocktail menu and an exclusive wine list features a variety of higher-end whites, rosés, lighter red wines, and sparkling sauvignon blanc. On Thursday nights, Full Bloom will delight guests with live entertainment by local musical groups.
“With the seasons changing so are we! Our incredible team has really outdone themselves to bring the community an exciting and bold, completely original, new spring concept.” said Jason Yates, owner of Lena’s. “The Yates Family and our entire Team look forward to welcoming you and after this past year, it’s time we all live life in full bloom.”

Full Bloom is the second of several future themes that will transform the space at The Loft at Lena’s, creating multiple immersive experiences that transport guests to various seasonal settings. The first concept, The Loft at Lena’s – Winter Lodge, which debuted in December, was a huge success. The Yates family partnered once again with Katie Kirby from REVOLUTION who successfully designed the concept for the Winter Lodge this past season as well as the popular Lena’s Oasis, which remains open.
The Yates family is focused on the health and safety of its patrons and team members. In addition to meeting and exceeding CDC COVID-19 guidelines and being an ALX Promise Pledge Partner, innovative, state-of-the-art, disinfection technology fans that kill 99.99% of airborne pathogens, including the virus that causes COVID-19 were installed in The Loft at Lena’s space and run continuously 24 hours a day. The Haiku fans by Lexington, Kentucky based manufacturer, Big Ass Fans®, are part of the Clean Air System that uses UV-C technology to deliver cleaner and safer air. The space also has open-air windows to let fresh air in and the HVAC equipment has been programmed to bring additional fresh air in from outside as opposed to only recirculating the air within the space.
