Good Shepherd Housing and Family Services is prepping for Juleps in July, a virtual cocktail class with John Shope from Catoctin Creek. The event is a fundraiser for the organization, which helps low-income families and individuals by providing affordable, stable housing and individualized case management.
"John is back with a specially curated julep cocktail class for Good Shepherd Housing. You can't find these cocktails on just any Pinterest board or at your nearby cocktail bar. So let's raise up your mixology skills with this summer fundraiser benefitting our affordable housing mission," the organization announced.
The registration deadline for the July 30 event is Thursday, July 21.
Participants will learn how to make three special julep cocktails (the Blackberry Mint Julep, the Hot Honey Mint Julep and the Chocolate Mint Julep).
