Hotel Heron, which opened earlier this year, has launched a new cocktail venue called Francis Hall.
The menu features roughly 30 drinks ranging from approachable to experiential.
According to the hotel, "Highlights include the Frank’s Punch, a strong combination of corn whiskey, mezcal, clementine, and suze and the Negroni, served as a frozen sorbet with mezcal, vermouth, citrus, and chocolate, and made table-side with liquid nitrogen for an extra special display."
The new cocktail lounge at Hotel Heron is led by Betty Woodward, Director of Food & Beverage for the hotel. Woodward is from Mexico and began her career in the cocktail industry as the Head Bartender at Oyamel in Washington, D.C.
The latest opening at Hotel Heron joins the signature restaurant Kiln, which features hearth-inspired mid-Atlantic dishes, and rooftop bar Good Fortune. Hotel Heron is at 699 Prince St., at the corner of Prince and South Washington streets.
Francis Hall hours will be 6 - 11 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.
