Hank's Oyster Bar
Hank's Oyster Bar is now open in its new location in Old Town North.
After years on King Street, Hank's Oyster Bar moved to its new space at the corner of North St. Asaph and Montgomery streets — a building the company already owned and used years ago for Hank's Pasta Bar and, later, Hank & Mitzi's.
The original Hank's Oyster Bar at 1026 King St. closed in mid-March. The new Hank's Oyster Bar was to open April 7, but opened a few days early.
For now, the rooftop dining area is first-come, first-served basis depending on weather and seems to be popular with diners (when it's not raining).
Hank's Oyster Bar opened in 2005 and was named after Leed's father, Hank Leeds. In 2016, Leeds opened Hank's Cocktail Bar in Northwest DC. That was followed by Hank’s Oyster Bar on the Wharf other ventures.
