After multiple delays, a new French bakery and restaurant has opened in Del Ray.
Gustave Boulangerie & Brasserie — the building says Gostov — opened at the corner of Mount Vernon and East Del Ray avenues. The blue brick building formerly housed Bean Creative, a marketing agency and website development firm.
A boulangerie is a French bakery with bread baked on the premesis. A brasserie is a French restaurant, though the word is also used for brewery.
The Gustave Boulangerie & Brasserie will feature traditional French breakfasts, an espresso bar and a macarons bar.
Hours are 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday; 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. Sundays. The venue is closed Mondays.
