According to city real estate records, there are plans to open a new restaurant in the space formerly home to Faccia Luna.
City real estate records show that a new Commercial Certificate of Occupancy has been issued for a new restaurant called Frankie’s Kitchen and Cocktail Bar.
The space at 823 South Washington Street has been empty since Faccia Luna closed in December 2023 after 27 years of serving pizza in Alexandria. Construction has started on the new restaurant, but the opening date is unknown.
The owner of the new restaurant did not respond to requests for information.
