Founding Farmers is turning up the heat and smoke! Starting Tuesday, May 26, the DMV-staple is launching Founding Farmers BBQ exclusively at two locations: Founding Farmers Alexandria + Founding Farmers & Distillers (in Chinatown).
The restaurant is located at 461 Swann Ave. in Alexandria.
Co-owner Michael Vucurevich and Chef/Managing Partner for Culinary, Joe Goetze, have spent years learning from the best and studying the science and soul of authentic BBQ — perfecting every rub, sauce, and smoking technique.
Great BBQ is personal and requires commitment to quality meats, proper wood selection, lots of practice, and the patient art of time and temperature. Founding Farmers BBQ is crafted with care at their Maryland smoke shack.

Signature smoked meats like Classic Central Texas Brisket, Sweet Heat St. Louis Spareribs and Jalapeño Cheddar Beef Sausage — along with barbecue trays, hearty sandwiches, and Smoked Brisket Birria Tacos.
