Monday morning, First Watch will open at Manchester Lakes in Franconia.
This is the second Alexandria location for the popular breakfast and lunch restaurant. First Watch is taking over the space formerly occupied by Lucky's at 7027B Manchester Blvd.
First Watch offers traditional favorites, such as pancakes, omelets, sandwiches and salads, alongside specialty items like a fresh juice bar. Menu highlights include the Barbacoa Chilaquiles Breakfast Bowl, Blackberry Lemon Cream French Toast and the Brooklyn Breakfast Sandwich with pastrami, egg, guyere cheese, onion and more on a roll. You'll be able to dine in, pick up or order delivery using the restaurant's app.
First Watch has several other locations in Northern Virginia, including one at Bailey's Crossroads.
There are more than 400 First Watch restaurants in 29 states. Headquartered in University Park, Florida, the restaurant was founded in 1983 in Pacific Grove, Calif. by John Sullivan and Ken Penderey. The name is a nautical reference to the first work shift aboard a ship.
