Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, an award-winning restaurant and steakhouse, will open its newest restaurant Monday, July 22 in Franconia. The new restaurant is the concept’s fifth location in Northern Virginia and employs about 100 people.
The new location is 7027A Manchester Blvd., in the Manchester Lakes shopping center near Amazon Fresh.
Firebirds in Franconia will be open seven days a week, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The restaurant will offer Bar Bite features and happy hour cocktails on weekdays from 4 to 7 p.m. in its signature FIREBAR®.
The Firebirds menu starts in its scratch kitchen, offering bold flavors and hand-cut, aged steaks and fresh seafood cooked over an open flame visible from the restaurant’s dining room.
The new restaurant in Franconia will offer staples from its extensive lunch, dinner and weekend brunch menus and will feature the concept’s striking FIREBAR®. This restaurant centerpiece offers Bar Bite features along with a full liquor bar and Firebirds’ signature martini, the Double Black Diamond® Martini, which is an infusion of fresh pineapple and New Amsterdam® Pineapple Vodka, garnished with a juicy fresh pineapple slice.
In addition to its elevated dining room experience, guests can enjoy Firebirds a variety of ways, including ordering "to go" or delivery through the restaurant’s website or DoorDash, or leveraging the concept’s premier catering services. The restaurant company partners with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation year-round to aid in the fight against childhood cancer. In addition to raising funds pre-opening and hosting other events throughout the year, for every Alex’s Lemonade purchased in every Firebirds restaurant, $1.25 is donated to the foundation. To date, the concept has raised about $3.5 million to fund impactful research, raise awareness and empower communities to help cure childhood cancer.
