The owners of Live Oak in Del Ray have opened a pop-up Italian restaurant in the Live Oak space in Del Ray.
Chef Justus Frank is offering family Italian fare Tuesday through Saturday from 4 p.m. - 9 p.m. Brunch is "coming soon" according to the owners. The menu includes a variety of appetizers, flatbreads, paninis, seasonal pasta dishes, fish, chicken and more. A kid's menu is available.
The restaurant offers patio seating as well as take-out and delivery. Indoor dining will be available in the future. Orders are reservations are available through Live Oak website at liveoakdelray.com.
The venue's website says, "The new restaurant, named Elo’s Italian (inspired by the Chef’s daughter Eloise, a spunky and outgoing toddler) is focused on rustic Italian cuisine, including charcuterie, cheese, pastas, focaccia flatbreads, pastries, cocktails, wine, and carryout offerings. Nestled in the community of Del Ray, Alexandria, Elo’s Italian is now your greatest option for the next family meal, event, or party."
Chef Frank and Jeremy Barber also own The Garden in Del Ray, and hinted at a new venture in Occoquan called Mill St. Draft Garden.
