Hologate virtual reality games at Doyle's Outpost in Alexandria's West End.
Alexandria's laser tag, sports bar and arcade closed in March due to coronavirus, but it's set to reopen Oct. 1.
The venue, in the space formerly occupied by AMF Seminary Lanes bowling alley that closed in 2005, has a full sports bar, laser tag, video games, Hologate VR and more, opened in January 2020 and was open for just about two months before closing due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Doyle's Outpost is located at 4620A Kenmore Ave. in the same shopping center as Aldi's — see the map at the bottom of this page. (Hint: Go in the Planet Fitness entrance and turn right).
When the venue opened in January , owner Kevin Fagan said, “High tech entertainment centers are great draws where groups of friends can experience a more social atmosphere. We are creating a space that is especially interesting and accessible to our active millennials.”
There will be significant health and safety measures in place due to the pandemic when the venue reopens. Learn more at www.doylesoutpost.com.
