The Double Apple Lounge will be opening this coming Tuesday, July 7 in Alexandria's West End.
The restaurant, lounge and hookah bar is at 5101 Seminary Road, just west of the intersection at North Beauregard Street with indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of parking.
Menu items include a variety of Middle Eastern items — falafel, hummus, chicken shawarma and more. A variety of hookah flavors will be available.
According to the restaurant, "For a truly memorable dining experience, cuisine and atmosphere are paired as thoughtfully as food and wine."
The building has seen several uses, including as a dry cleaner and a market.
The lounge will be directly across from a new Monday Properties residential development under construction now at the intersection of North Beauregard Street and Seminary Road.
