A local pizza chain is opening its sixth location in Old Town Alexandria.
Andy's Pizza plans to open at 107 N. Fayette St. in the space formerly occupied by Meggrolls.
Andy's Pizza has four locations in the District and one in Tysons. The pizzeria serves up New York-style pizza by the slice or by the pie, plus salads and a curated drinks menu. In 2021, Andy's brought home the top prize for a traditional pizza at the International Pizza Expo in Las Vegas.
Andy's has also popped up at local breweries, including Aslin.
Earlier this month, Frank Pepe's Pizzeria Napoletana opened at Alexandria Commons.
