Ready to celebrate Alexandria's lovely spring weather? Be sure to make plans to stop by Good Fortune, located six floors up on the rooftop of Hotel Heron in the heart of Old Town Alexandria.
The hotel is located at 699 Prince St. in Alexandria.
Grab your friends and family to find a spot at Good fortune to enjoy an Alexandria sunset, painting the Potomac with golden light while you sip a seasonal specialty. Locals and visitors mingle here for weekend yoga, after-work gatherings and starlit evenings, making it as much a community living room as it is one of Alexandria’s most breathtaking viewpoints.

Good Fortune, Hotel Heron's rooftop bar is now open in Old Town Alexandria!
Kick back in comfortable open-air lounge seating as you and your friends mingle over a bottle of rosé or seasonal cocktails. Enjoy small bites including mini crab rolls, pimento cheese with pickled veggies, and Southern country ham with hot mustard.
Have a large crew? Gather round sharable punch bowls and sheet-tray sandos (think: smash patty sliders or fried chicken with hot honey). There’s enough for everyone.
Hours are 4-10 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and 3-10 p.m. Saturdays.
