Alexandria Restaurant Week, one of the city’s biggest summer events, returns Friday, Aug. 22 to Sunday, Aug. 31, 2025, with bold flavors and chef-driven menus that highlight Alexandria’s status as a top dining destination in the DMV.
For 10 days and two weekends, dozens of restaurants in Alexandria, will offer multi-course prix fixe dinner menus at $30, $40 or $50 per person. Find additional special offers at select fast casual restaurants throughout Alexandria, making it easy to sample a wide range of cuisines at every budget.
First-time participants in Alexandria Restaurant Week include exciting new additions to the city’s dining scene: the newly opened Alexandria location of the farmer-owned DC favorite Founding Farmers in Potomac Yard and Southern comfort spot Milk & Honey. Also joining for the first time is a local favorite, the Havana 151-themed Loft at Lena’s.
Alexandria Restaurant Week showcases the creativity of local chefs and showcases the global cuisine available in neighborhoods throughout the city, including Old Town, Old Town North, Del Ray, Carlyle and Eisenhower, Arlandria-Chirilagua and the West End. In August, a digital flipbook of menus at participating restaurants will be available at AlexandriaRestaurantWeek.com.
Visitors to Alexandria can extend their stay and sample multiple restaurants with the Love, Alexandria hotel package. Twelve participating hotels throughout the city are offering visitors a limited-time destination experience including more than $200 in added value, allowing them to savor Alexandria and soak up the end of summer.
For visitors arriving earlier in the month, the 16th Annual Alexandria Sidewalk Sale, featuring dozens of Alexandria boutiques offering deeply discounted merchandise, is happening Saturday, August 9.
