- NEW: IndoChen at Hyatt Centric Old Town Alexandria – Full service starting Friday, May 6
Last month, IndoChen opened its second location in Alexandria at the Hyatt Centric Old Town Alexandria. While the restaurant is currently only serving breakfast, Chef Ram Thapa – who spent much of his career working in the restaurant industry in Nepal – will unveil his Indo-Chinese comfort food for lunch and dinner starting Friday, May 6.
The Hilton Alexandria Mark Center, which is nearing completion of a multi-million-dollar renovation, is currently in the process of overhauling its culinary programming. In April, the hotel revealed The Sushi Bar in the lobby and in June, the hotel’s gift shop is slated to be replaced by a new to-go café, The Market.
- Cocktail Garden by King & Rye at The Alexandrian – Reopened April 21
As of April 21, the seasonal cocktail garden in King & Rye’s courtyard has returned. The redesigned space at The Alexandrian Hotel Old Town Alexan
dria features lounge areas, intimate dining spaces, fire pits and a summer music series. The Southern-inspired garden highlights a special cocktail program curated by General Manager and Executive Bourbon Steward Allison Strunk with a variety of spirits infused with fresh seasonal fruits, vegetables and herbs.

The Study has returned to Morrison House after being temporarily closed due to the pandemic. Guests will rediscover locally sourced fare offered by Chef Tomas Chavarria, whose Mesoamerican heritage influences a unique Mo
dern American menu with dishes such as Korobuta Pork Belly and Seven Hills Farms Dry-Aged Strip Loin. The Study also offers a menu of classic cocktails inspired by great literary works in a luxe bar with live piano.
