Your Water in Northern Virginia is a two-part webinar series.
Learn how Northern Virginia's water is connected to each other and the land. Find out what is impacting our water supply.
Our water is not unlimited. Only 1% of the water on planet Earth is usable fresh water. Over six million people depend on the Potomac watershed for their water. The Potomac River and the Occoquan Reservoir are the main supply of water for WSSC, Washington Aqueduct, Loudoun, and Fairfax Water which also supplies Prince William Service Authority and American Water. Join us as we explore where Northern Virginia's water comes from and how decisions such as land use affect our water supply.
Registration is required. A Zoom link will be emailed two hours before the event.
This is the second webinar of a two-part series, Your Water in Northern Virginia.
