The Art of Business at Del Ray Artisans

Del Ray Artisan Gallery presents The Art of Business. This how-to class will answer your questions on income, sales, and local Virginia county taxes. 

In a lecture and discussion format, Rita Schooley, CPA will go over the general points of tax law and answer questions. She will also discuss general aspects of business from an artist’s viewpoint.

Topics covered include: recordkeeping, record retention, filing tax returns, estimated tax payments, and navigating the tax maze.

Additionally, participants can bring all tax and business-related questions for consideration.

Rita will be available after the session for about half an hour to answer questions privately.

Tickets are $45 for members and $60 for non-members.

Class size is 4-15 participants; participants must be registered by January 10th.
