Celebrate Small Business Saturday during Alexandria Shop Small Week!
You can expect live music, prizes from the Elf Patrol and offerings from more than 50 independently owned boutiques in Old Town Alexandria and Del Ray.
Stroll historic streets twinkling with holiday traditions as you enjoy special discounts and gifts with purchase. At Alexandria’s boutiques, you’re greeted by local shop owners and offered personalized customer service with curated gift suggestions ranging from home décor, chic fashions and gourmet food to classic toys and gifts for pets.
Members of the Old Town Boutique District are celebrating Small Business Saturday with the Elf Patrol. Look out for masked elves who will be handing out gift cards to reward shoppers in Alexandria, starting on Small Business Saturday and every Saturday through December 11, 2021.
The City of Alexandria will provide free parking at four garages in Old Town (locations listed below) on both Plaid Friday and Small Business Saturday. Street parking is always free in Del Ray.

- Market Square Parking Garage– 108 N. Fairfax Street
- USP Parking Garage - 220 N. Union Street
- Thompson’s Alley Parking Garage - 10 Thompsons Alley
