Savage WonderGround: Three Strangers
Following the stunning debut of Savage WonderGround in November, Veterans Repertory Theater (VetRep) returns to the Principle Gallery for a brand-new Savage WonderGround immersive art performance: Three Strangers.
Directed by VetRep artistic director Christopher Paul Meyer (Army), this performance features singer/songwriter Logan Vath (Navy), storyteller Charles McCaffrey (Navy), poet Dex (USMC), and USMC Artist-in-Residence Kristopher Battles.
As no two shows are the same, this WonderGround has been created to showcase the talents of each artist in an intimate performance that is immersive and multi-faceted. The audience can expect to follow a narrative told in music, spoken word, poetry, and visual art, as the performers and audience move together through a unique gallery space, exploring the characters of Three Strangers: The Thief, The Warrior, and The Lover.
As with all WonderGrounds, there will be a grazing table and refreshments. Tickets are $20 and VetRep shares all proceeds evenly with the artists.
Veterans Repertory Theater is a tax-exempt, non-profit 501c3 organization which exists to produce and collaborate with talented veterans in order to create compelling live theater and events with the goal of re-energizing the live performance arts by adding more veteran voices into the culture.
