Portside in Old Town Festival

In celebration of Old Town Alexandria's new waterfront experience, the Portside in Old Town Festival will take place along the Potomac River from October 12th to October 14th.

The festival will be full of fun activities, such as free tours of the tall ship Godspeed, a beer garden from Port City Brewing Company, and a pop-up car exhibit and Pizzeria Paradiso. There will also be live music, history, and art festivities. The weekend also includes two special events happening inside the Torpedo Factory Art Center, which is located at the Alexandria City Marina.

Events are recurring daily at various times throughout the weekend. Admission is free.

Saturday, October 13

1 to 6 pm Tall ship Godspeed tours and history exhibits

12 to 5 pm Portside History activities presented by the Office of Historic Alexandria

12 to 3 pm Portside Kids hands-on craft project presented by AR Workshop

12 to 4 pm Art Safari artist-led hands-on kids’ activities inside the Torpedo Factory Art Center

2 to 7 pm Waterfront Beer Garden by Port City Brewing Company

2 to 7 pm Pop-up Pizzeria Paradiso

2 to 7 pm Dolci Gelati gelato cart

2 to 7 pm Live music

7 to 8 pm LED light performance by Incandescent Entertainment presented by The Athenaeum
