In celebration of National Dog Day on August 26, The Alexandrian  is going to celebrate man’s best friend!

The event will include personalized pet portraits, special pop up training demonstrations by Old Towne School for Dogs, The Project Second Chance ‘Smooch a Pooch’ adoption opportunities and much more! The events take place on the patio at Jackson 20, the restaurant attached to the hotel.

Stop by The Alexandrian and Jackson 20 on Aug. 26 from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. to preview the new Proper Pups Patio Provisions menu for dogs, plus games and treats for pets and their humans. 

The event includes: 

• Project Second Chance kissing booth (with adoptable dogs)
• Olde Town School for Dogs training demonstration
• Elizabeth Graeber watercolor pet portraits for purchase (with a portion of proceeds going to Project Second Chance Animal Rescue)
• VCA Alexandria Animal Hospital sponsored prize wheel
• Games and treats and fun!
