Join Mount Vernon for an exciting scavenger hunt and discover locations and ingredients that were important to chocolate production in the historic area.
After finding the ingredients, observe how chocolate was made in George Washington’s time while learning about the history and science behind chocolate production at Mount Vernon.
Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult; allow 10-15 minutes to walk from the Main Entrance to the Interpretive Center to meet your guide.
Tickets for this event include general admission -- tickets are $35 per person.
