Musikanten celebrates the choral music of beloved VA/DC/MD composer Russell Woollen (1923-1994) with professional chamber orchestra and soloists, conducted by Kerry Krebill. Program includes his 1987 Alexandria Suite, based on poetry by former poet laureate of Virginia, Jean Elliot, and commissioned by the Alexandria Choral Society. Tickets $30/adult, $10/student, available at the door (cash or check only).
