Alexandria Performing Arts Studio to Perform in Annandale, Virginia
ALEXANDRIA, VA — Under the creative direction of Metropolitan School of the Arts artistic leadership, executive director, Sara Hart and tap artistic director, Charles Renato as well as nationally recognized guest choreographers, MSA of Alexandria, Virginia will perform its Company Project, Virtuoso, exploring the universal language of music. From intricate footwork to expressive storytelling, the performance is a testament to the dedication of Alexandria’s most promising young artists. Seatings are Sat., March 14 at 7 PM and Sun., March 15 at 2 PM at the Richard J Ernst Community Cultural Center at 8333 Little River Turnpike in Annandale, Virginia. The Company Project: Virtuoso, an annual youth dance showcase featuring the pre-professional powerhouses of the iMpulse, MYTE, and dynaMYTE dance companies. Virtuoso shifts the spotlight onto the technical brilliance and infectious energy of commercial dance. This year’s production is a high-velocity journey through tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and musical theater, designed to celebrate the "virtuoso" within every performer—those who command the stage with exceptional technique, passion, and musicality.
