Lovebird Scavenger Hunt
Friends to Lovers bookstore is popping up in multiple places for the month of December.
Friends to Lovers, a bookstore that closed just days after opening due to a fire, has launched a scavenger hunt.
In addition to opening a long-term popup shop above Wine Gallery 108 (at 108 N. St. Asaph St.), multiple businesses are now carrying romance novels to support the bookstore while it searches for a new permanent home.
The scavenger hunt leads romance novel readers to multiple stores with books in relevant genres. (ERA Boutique, for example, is carrying books related to fashion, while Ace Hardware is carrying books related to fixer-uppers.
"After Friends to Lovers lost our brick-and-mortar location to a fire on Nov. 17, we received an outpouring of customer support for our rebuild. However, we still had no way to open quickly enough to sell books during the busiest shopping months of the year," explained Friends to Lovers founder Jamie Fortin.
The following Old Town stores are carrying romance novels through the month of December:
