Learn to Make Soap

‘Tis the season for giving and receiving! Treat yourself to this class where you will make your own natural smooth lather, moisturizing olive, coconut, and castor oil holiday soap to keep for yourself or share as a gift.

In this class, you will learn about the science how to make soap.

You will blend olive oil, coconut oil, and castor oil (which is a favorite recipe for smooth lather and moisturizing combo) with lye (sodium Hydroxide), add colors and fragrance of your choice, or dried flowers, and then ah ha!

You will have made ~5 bars (~$50 dollars’ worth) of your very own handmade soap! Also note, If you have allergies, we can alter the recipe to meet your needs!
