With the holiday season in full swing and colder temps ahead, it’s still essential for young children and families to continue practicing water survival skills training. The AAP’s latest guidelines suggest that children start swim lessons at the age of one to help decrease the risk of drowning.
Goldfish Swim School advocates for perpetual year-round swim lessons, in order to allow students to advance at their own rate. And with many families looking for indoor physical activities to participate in during the winter months, Goldfish Swim School’s Alexandria, Reston and Falls Church, VA locations are offering an array of holiday specials:
— Buy 12 consecutive lessons (any level), and receive 4 lessons free, plus a Goldfish towel; available through December 31, 2024.
— Group Lessons: Special rate of $399 + $25 registration fee for new members ($133 savings).
— Mini 3 Lessons (Ages 4-35 Months): Special rate of $441 + $25 registration fee for new members ($147 savings).
— Swim Force Swim Team: Special rate of $480 + $25 registration fee for new members ($160 savings).
Registration for January 2025 swim lessons will open December 9, 2024. Registration fees will be waived for those who sign up during the week of December 9th-15th ($25 savings).
When registering at Goldfish Swim School’s Northern Virginia locations, all students start with a beginner class and are evaluated each week before advancing to the next level. The swim school locations offer classes starting at age four months, with parent participation in classes ages four months to two years old, and optional parent participation from two years to three years old. For classes for ages four and older, there is a max of four students per class with one instructor.
All swim school supervisors and instructors are CPR certified and Ellis certified—the industry leader in lifeguard credentials—on a yearly basis. In addition, Goldfish Swim School requires instructors pass their own rigorous training program.
