D-DAY ANNIVERSARY FETE

Market Square 300 King Street, Alexandria, Virginia 22305
On Saturday, June 9th an official D-Day commemoration ceremony and community event will take place from 2:30 to 5 p.m. on Market Square (301 King St.).
This event is outdoors and includes WWII reenactors, period vehicles, 40's swing music from the band “Blue Jazz” along with swing dancing and expected presentation by the U.S. Fife and Drums Corps. There will be community booths and a "French Market" with some refreshments and crafts for sale. An official remembrance ceremony with Alexandria elected officials will take place at 3:30.
Children are encouraged to attend and all activities are free!
