River Clean-up & CWA 50th Celebration

The Potomac Riverkeeper Network and Port City Brewing Company are teaming up to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Clean Water Act. The Clean Water Act is the primary federal law in the United States governing water pollution and the 50th anniversary recognizes the passing of the federal Clean Water Act (CWA) of 1972.

Potomac Riverkeeper Network and Port City Brewing Company are marking the anniversary with a day of stewardship and fun on Sunday October 16, 2022 from 10:00am – 12:00pm.

Event organizers welcome all to join in, give back (and get a little muddy) at Ben Brenman Park along Holmes Run (located at 4800 Brenman Park Drive) for a River Cleanup project followed by festivities at Port City Brewing Company. Post clean up from 12:00 p.m. 3:00 p.m., Port City Brewing Company will host live local music, delicious food, and refreshments for enjoyment.
