to
T.C. Williams High School 3300 King Street, Alexandria, Virginia
High School and Middle School Students... Do you want to prepare for your future and support your community? Then rise to the challenge of cadet membership in the U.S. Air Force Auxiliary, the Civil Air Patrol.
If you are dreaming of a career in aviation, space, robotics, emergency services, or the military, CAP’s cadet program is for you. You must be at least 12 years old and not yet 18 years old to join. Cadets meet Wednesdays for 2 hour meetings and approximately 1 Saturday a month, on average, and also have opportunities to attend leadership encampments, STEM and flight training academies, and other activities during the summer. Many of the activities CAP is involved in will help you, the Virginia student, acquire community service hours. And you can learn to FLY!
Come to one of our meetings, meet some of our cadets, and learn more about becoming part of the Civil Air Patrol and making a difference in your community!
Adults -- Volunteer opportunities are available in Aerospace Education, Emergency Services, and Cadet Programs. Our senior members come from all walks of life, ages, and experiences. No experience required.
