Romare Bearden’s masterpiece artwork, The Piano Lesson, is back on view at Nepenthe Gallery and local Art History teacher KARA SANDOVAL will lead a discussion about the legendary artist and his career. Along with The Piano Lesson, which inspired the Pulitzer-Prize winning play “The Piano Lesson” by August Wilson, the artwork Conjunction by Romare Bearden will also be on view. Kara Sandoval is a faculty member at St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes School.
