Art on the Avenue returns Saturday, Oct. 5
The 29th Annual Art on the Avenue takes place on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Mt. Vernon Avenue in the heart of the Del Ray neighborhood of Alexandria. Art on the Avenue features over 350 local and regional artists, four stages of live music, food, a pie baking contest, free children's craft activities and more. The event, named the top arts festival in Northern Virginia by Virginia Living readers, is free and open to all; free trolley transportation will be provided from the Potomac Yard and Braddock Road Metro stations and free bike valet service is available at the Truist parking lot, at the intersection of Mt.
