Alexandria PTA Reflections Awards Program & Art Show Opening
Celebrate students in the Reflections Program.
Come celebrate talented students from 13 ACPS schools who participated in the Alexandria PTAC Reflections arts contest.
The reception begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Durant Arts Center, 1605 Cameron Street, with time to view the artwork and enjoy refreshments. At 7 p.m. we'll move to the auditorium for the awards program, with student performances, a slide show, and presentations of awards.
This event is free and open to the public.
Reflections is an arts recognition and achievement program for students sponsored by the National PTA. ACPS students are encouraged to produce an original, artistic entry in the categories of dance choreography, film production, literature, musical composition, photography, and visual arts. The most imaginative interpretation of the theme through any one of these mediums is the object of the program.
