14th Street Bridge Trail Edging
The Friends of Mount Vernon Trail will be improving the trail near the 14th Street Bridge.
Volunteers may perform some of the following work:
Using shovels to remove overgrown vegetation and mud from the trail edge
Using pruners and loppers to cut vegetation
Using hand saws to cut tree branches
Sweeping or using a leaf blower
Hauling away vegetation and fallen tree branches
Picking up trash
What to Bring:
Water
Gloves (We'll have some to borrow)
Pruners or loppers (We'll have some to borrow)
Long sleeves and long pants
Where to Meet:
The work area is on the Mount Vernon Trail near the 14th Street Bridge. The nearest address is the Columbia Island Marina. See the picture below.

Work will be performed outside with room to socially distance
