Old Town is getting some European flair this summer with the opening of a new French and Italian-inspired boutique.
Crème de la Crème opened at 907 King Street in the heart of Old Town. On July 14, the new boutique hosted a grand opening for Bastille Day.
What started as one store in Middleburg has expanded to five locations including Richmond and Leesburg, Virginia, Frederick, Maryland, and now Alexandria.
Crème de la Crème, translated from French to English, means best of the best, specializing in high-quality home and lifestyle goods.
Some highlights of the shop include Crème de la Crème’s specialty candles that come in an array of fresh scents in a ceramic container, linens imported from France in bold colors and patterns, and a wide array of coffee table books about French and Italian cuisine, life and culture.
Crème de la Crème was inspired by French and Italian living with a little bit of southern charm and hospitality.
Dinnerware, glassware, and everything needed for a beautiful kitchen can be found at Crème de le Crème, including patterned aprons and oven mitts.
Crème de le Crème also has furniture for sale for those looking to change up their dining spaces or homes.
Fine jewelry is also available in the store, including gold rings, bracelets, earrings, and handmade brooches.
The shops hours are Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
