Know someone who is looking for a job? Wegmans is holding a virtual hiring event Thursday, Jan. 20 from 1-5 p.m. for its new Carlyle store near the Eisenhower Avenue Metro Station in Alexandria.
The popular grocery store set to open in late spring offers employees a package of benefits covering "health, well-being, family and future." The store is hiring for both part-time and full-time customer service team members. Onboarding and training will begin immediately. Prior to the store opening, training will take place at existing Wegmans store locations in Northern Virginia

According to Market Force Information's annual grocery industry study, Wegmans ranked first, followed by Publix, Trader Joe's, Hy-Vee and ALDI. The study polled 10,000 consumers to rate their satisfaction with their most recent grocery shopping experience and their likelihood to refer that grocer to others
