Thursday evening in a packed Westin Hotel ballroom, The Chamber ALX presented awards to Alexandria's best businesses and honored Business Leader of the Year Patricia Washington, who recently retired from Visit Alexandria.
The business awards are selected by an anonymous committee of past winners, which scores applications on business overview, charitable contributions, company culture and excellence.
Following the awards, 15 Alexandria restaurants gave tastes of their top dishes to attendees and guests.
