Stardust Vintage + Gift will become your new happy place in the heart of Alexandria's Del Ray neighborhood, when it opens sometime in May.
You can stop by this week and get a sneak peek of the new store Thursday, May 1 at 1904 Mt. Vernon Ave. Patrons can indulge in some cotton candy and spin the wheel for dog bow-ties from The Dog Store.
Step into a swirl of nostalgia, cuteness, and pure fun—where vintage meets kitsch and every corner sparks joy. The new boutique will stock retro treasures, playful hostess and birthday gifts, and one-of-a-kind finds you didn’t know you needed.
When the new shop opens, you can also expect:
- Vintage + retro + gifts galore
- Craft classes & vintage workshops
- Fun pop-ups & community events including bingo nights!
The new store is the brainchild of Amy Eggers, co-founder and director of the Del Ray Vintage & Flea Market which began in 2019; it is next open Saturday, May 10 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The market has continuously grown since2019 and now features 60-75 vendors, area food trucks, local non-profits, school performances, live music and more.
The market is held in three parking lots: The parking lot of Del Ray Psych & Wellness at 1900 Mt. Vernon Ave. and the back parking lot of the Salvation Army Corps at 1804 Mt. Vernon Ave. as well as Magpie Reclamations at 202 E. Custis Ave. in Del Ray.
The dates for the 2025 season are as follows (subject to weather cancellations):
