Saltbox is considering moving into a warehouse in Eisenhower Valley.
Saltbox specializes in helping ecommerce companies pack and ship items for consumers. In addition, it offers offices and meeting space, plus business support in a model it calls “co-warehousing.”
The company is teed up for an administrative special use permit consideration at a Planning & Zoning Commission meeting later this week. Saltbox could move into 4700 Eisenhower Ave., between Restaurant Depot and the FedEx Shipping Center west of Great Waves Waterpark.
A Saltbox membership includes “your private warehouse suite or office space- equipped with power, HVAC, and wi-fi; our functional space - loading docks, conference rooms, and coworking areas; and Saltbox amenities - all utilities included, daily pickups from preferred carriers, access to the entrepreneurial community, and more!” according to the company’s website.
The company already has co-warehousing operations in Dallas, Atlanta, Seattle, Los Angeles and Denver.
Saltbox was announced in Fast Company's list of Most Innovative Companies of 2022.
