Imagine Artwear celebrated the ribbon cutting ceremony of the new King Street Metro Enterprise Team (KSMET) mural, titled “KiSMET Mural, Love is All You Need.”
Carol Supplee, owner of Imagine Artwear, conceived of the mural as “a tribute to all the thousands of people who have contributed to the vitality and creativity of our King Street community.”
KSMET is a not-for-profit association of businesses with a primary interest in the area between the King Street Metro station and Washington Street. It provides a forum for sharing interests and concerns about business development and quality of life.
The mural includes portrait of Supplee standing next to her beloved dog, Hobbes, and her chief marketing officer. Also featured in the mural is founder and president of KSMET, Nina Tisara.
The mural was painted by artist Len Garon. Garon also painted the timeline mural on a warehouse off of Edsall Road with artist Cindy Wallace.
