An Alexandria coffee institution is moving its café, roasting equipment and operation at the end of May.
Misha’s will move from its current location at the intersection of King and S. Patrick Street (Route 1 North) to 917 King Street – less than a block away from its current location. The move is scheduled for the latter half of April.
Misha’s will have a larger, newer space for customers and may have room for outdoor dining on the sidewalk.
Misha's has been in its current location since 1991 and this is the company’s first move.

The new Misha's Coffee location at 917 King Street will open in late April 2019.
The space was formerly a home to Radiance MedSpa; the spa is now located at 115 S. Columbus St. The new location is next to Sacred Circle.
Misha’s also announced last year that it was considering opening a second location at 6 Prince Street.
Construction appears to be moving forward at the Prince Street location, with permits issued for demolition earlier this year and 'Coming Soon!' signs up in the windows.
